This information pole was designed for the Marunouchi Area from Yurakucho to Otemachi, with Naka Dori Street running centrally north to south.  It was planned together with pavement and planting for Naka Dori Street.
Each pole consists of two main structures: a column made of a different type of stone individually selected for each crossing; and a glass cylinder for displaying area information arranged at a certain distance around the column.
The cylinder is composed of four glass doors, on the internal surface of which sheets containing area information are fixed.
Since the first one was installed in front of the Marunouchi Building, twenty information poles have been installed to date.
The map design was updated in 2020.
