Amid the ongoing construction of the Marunouchi Building and redevelopment along Naka Dori Street, we developed sign design rules for the Dai-Maru-Yu area, which was named after initial characters of Otemachi, Marunouchi, and Yurakucho.
This project was proceeded parallel to the sign design project for the Marunouchi Building which was concurrently requested.
Starting with typeface specification, we formatted all design elements including those may be required in the future: from layout rules, pictogram design to map design rules for area guide, floor guide and parking information; and compiled them into a booklet.
