ottimo design is a design studio founded by designer Hideo Yamamoto in 1989.
Our design projects range from product design, focusing on the design of household goods, furniture, lighting apparatus, medical equipment and industrial machinery, to space and sign design.

Design is an instrument to make people happy.
Our design process starts with defining challenges to be addressed through careful user observation.
Then, we make prototypes, test them, and draft drawings.
This process is consistent regardless of what is being designed as long as it is for people.
While we keep our instrument in good condition, we look forward to an opportunity to assist you with your new project in the near future.
